That may seem like a mouthful, but that succinct phrase embodies the goal of our December build. Norma Vargas, 52 years old, is a single mother who takes care of her adult son, as well as her 81 year old mother. Norma sells used clothes to help make ends meet. Her mother, Maria, has several health issues and is currently pending cardiac surgery. This close-knit family current lives in a dilapidated house that barely protects them from the elements.
This winter, a team of veteran volunteers, along with our trusted local crew, will turn donations into a brand new home.
